Our mission is to provide great service to great clients, and we've been doing so since 2003. We have consistently grown over the past 15+ years, while maintaining one owner, no debt or investors, and thus no diversion from taking care of our people and our clients. We have over 150 clients, and we hire the best people to work with our clients. We are highly experienced in process definition, implementation, and management, and we have expertise in just about every area of technology.
In addition, our people are smart, diverse and multilingual. Collectively, we speak 23 languages fluently and last year we traveled to 27 different countries. We believe in mental and physical fitness, and this is embodied by our team. We scuba dive, go deep sea fishing, hike, camp, swim, run and play water polo, volleyball, rugby, ice hokey, and music (some more competitively than others).
We’re the discreet technology company used by some of the most forward thinking and leading Bay Area firms who hire only the very best.
We specialize in financial companies, and understand regulatory requirements, including SEC, FINRA, and HIPAA.
Our business is based on word-of-mouth, and we have grown through the many referrals supporting small to medium size businesses across multiple industries including, but not limited to:
We provide world class customer service with a guaranteed one-hour response time. We monitor our clients 24/7 and ensure documentation is kept up-to-date. We pay attention to details and we want to know about issues before you do.
Our high standards result in a very selective recruiting process. We hire about 1 out of 100 applicants. Our people are nice, smart and highly trained. They will strive not to just be technical resources but also trusted advisors.
We warrant everything we do. if you are not happy with any work we do or if you didn’t get value from the time we spent, we don’t want you to pay for it and you don’t have to. We want to earn your business on every visit.
Our clients and employees are incredibly important to us, and we have extremely low turnover with both. We believe in 20-year relationships. It is a core value in our company. Our employees stay with us because we treat them very well. Our clients are our friends. Trust is the key to maintaining and growing our relationships.
We work closely with our clients to use technology to further their business goals, and our conversations center on our clients’ business needs. The technology is just how we get there.
We are the trusted advisor to our clients.
We have 20-year relationships.
We are nice, honest, and friendly.
We take care of our people and our clients.
We combine deep knowledge of industries and geographies with breadth of experience. We take pride in our white glove and high touch approach and we are the best when it comes to an incredible client experience. Our team is your team and we look forward to hearing from you.
Cobaltix roots are in giving back. Over the past 5 years, we have donated more than a half million dollars in cash, services, volunteer time, products, and hardware to local non-profits and people who are doing good in our communities and around the world, including Monument Crisis Center, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Ubunye, Zanmi Lakay, California Food Banks, and more.
We have always focused on kids, immigrants, and refugees--those most in need in our society. We define our society as the whole world (not just our community or our country). Our goal is to give back, and make sure our giving back is effective. We don't just write checks. We help people. During the recent coronavirus pandemic, we doubled down. With our company safe and healthy, we decided to give back more. A lot more.
In mid-July, 2014, Steve was introduced to Jen. Jen did "something with photography and Haiti." Steve thought it might be interesting for his daughter to hear about it, so he agreed to meet for coffee, and brought her along. Jen brought Guy, her husband, who spoke to Annika in French the whole time. In less than an hour Jen and Guy had Steve and Annika both mesmerized with stories of Zanmi Lakay and how much good could be done in Haiti.
For anyone with young children in the Bay Area, The Bay Area Discovery Museum needs no introduction. It is a leader in the development of very young brains in the Bay Area, and is known throughout the world by child development specialists. The "exhibits" are fun, interactive experiences that challenge kids and encourage them to develop both their cognitive and motor skills in unique and interesting ways.
